Dear aab180,

Great thoughts! Something else to keep in mind is that "luck" can also be thought of in terms of opportunity. When we get a "good luck" bounce on the golf course, it gives us the opportunity to make something good happen. When, however, we get a "bad luck" bounce, we have a different type of opportunity. We have the opportunity to grow and learn, which often will lead us to more "good luck" bounces in the future. Also, it is the "bad luck" bounces that give us the opportunity to pull off fantastic recovery shots that feel most gratifying. It is through adversity that we truly find out what we are capable of, and who we are as golfers and as people.

I would avoid the use of the word "luck" in regards to your golf game. Everything you do in the game is an "opportunity", and each of those opportunities are yours, and yours alone to make the most of. I wish for you all the good opportunities with every round of golf you play.

Thanks for Golfing With Jeff
